Alaska Bar Association Registration

All persons who wish to file an application for admission by bar exam, on motion, or UBE score transfer with the Alaska Bar Association must first create a personal Alaska Bar Association Registration account on this website.

Information on waivers for legal interns, the 10 month rule, pro hac vice, ALSC and military may be found on the Waivers page. Registration is not required except for those applying for a military spouse waiver.

Payment of Admission Fees

Application Checklist

All applicants: you must review the application checklist and submit all required items to complete your application. All applicants are subject to a determination of character and fitness.

Your application will not be processed until all required items are received.

Bar exam applicants: you must submit all required items before exam permits are sent out, or your application to take the bar exam will be denied. Permits are sent out several weeks before the bar exam.
