Rule 43 Waiver for ALSC Employees

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must provide the following:

- Certificate of law school graduation

- Certificate of good standing from applicant’s State Bar.

- Proof of full-time employment with Alaska Legal Service Corporation.

- Affidavit that the applicant has never failed the Alaska Bar exam, or if failed, has subsequently passed.

 

Application for Rule 43 waiver will be made by the Executive Director of ALSC on behalf of the applicant. The application will be submitted to the BOG at a regularly scheduled meeting.

The waiver is effective as long as the applicant works for ALSC. It expires upon failure of the bar exam.
